Everyone else was pumped for Stern, but I love this show so much more. And it's hilarious - especially if you're a current events nut like I am.

I think that's exactly what the doctor ordered on this particular media tour, some humor to help wash down all the downer stuff. We all know she can be wickedly funny.

The "Banter" Jewel gets into her live appearances, the interaction with the crowd, I love almost as much as her music.

At the Birmingham Book Signing during "Questions segment" I ask about a possible EDA event like the TexFest or Swanky Soiree in next year or so? She replied it's on a backburner for now.
I commented I'd missed the Swanky Soiree, she fired back, "I guess you just missed out on that one, to bad, you would have looked good there."

I didn't catch the CMT thing this weekend. The mister even suggested we watch it and I was like, "nah." Here's to hoping it pops up online.

The NashFM will probably be a call-in... ah...uh...oh wait. I'm not sure how she could pull off performing over the phone. I have no idea, but she's definitely in Chicago for the day.

I wonder if I have the wherewithal to get up early for it.

I'm kind of surprised there weren't more media appearances over the LA tour time.

Plus, I really thought this would be the week when Loudspeaker on 91x would play the songs she recorded there way back when, what with Halloran getting together with her and all. But no.

You remember the conversation we had about it back in Feb/March? I've made it a point to stay up late every Sunday since, to record that damn show and...nothing. I'm insane, BTW.

I got up way too early, considering it's a day off work.

These two appearances are looking more and more like they'll be at the same damn time; they're both saying she'll be on in the 8:00 EDT/7:00 CDT slot. WGN's playing the Foo Fighters video as a bumper now.
