The Stern show is on now; I'm not sure when Jewel comes on, but it might be right now. He just said she was there.

I signed up for a trial Sirius account and have no idea what happens at the end of the 30 day period. I fear I may have signed a deal with the devil... :wtf:

I woud imagine that it'll show up on youtube.  Cameras in the booth are standard, but I guess it depends on who has access.

By the time I get this stupid ass fuckin' file uploaded the Youtube video will be up as well as a transcription or three. The upload rate was around 500kb/s which is slower than snail shit but not slow enough evidently, so just to fuck with me, it throttled down to 90kb/s and then failed outright, twice.

And 1.39 GB sure seems big for a one hour .wav file. Did I screw it up? Hell, I don't know.

EDIT: Welp. I see one thing wrong. Instead of exporting just my selection (1:05), it's 2:21 of Stern there. Shit.

You can do it!  I'm cheering for you!

You might get a smaller file if you run it through VLC and convert to MP3. 

Media - Convert/Save - Add yer file - click Convert/Save again on the bottom - Select "Audio - MP3" in the dropdown menu under Settings/convert .... BAM.

Did that (thanks!) and zipped it, too. A lot more manageable now, although I still can't edit out the stuff that's unneeded.
