Sometimes, it takes more than one tweet to get her attention.

I would also be more specific if possible... maybe tweet to JewelMGMT as well?
Try something like having issues with changing an order on the @jeweljk store, can an international EDA get some help?

Javo - have you gotten what you need?  I can ask Alan for a bit of better guidance on who to contact about the jeweljk store.

Well, I STILL can't find the album on the Target site, but I did just see a Target commercial! The Talk is on in the background and I suddenly heard My Father's Daughter playing. Awesome.

No I didn't. It would be great if you can ask it for me. But only if that isn't too big a deal.

This is all I can get:

Contact info@jeweljk.com with your request.

I'm not sure if that's who you already spoke with, but this is the best contact.

info@jeweljk.com never replied, store@jeweljk replied in the end but never wanted to reply to my real questions. Also had to remind them on my questions one time.

I'll buy the other stuff later (if still available) when I'm over my dissapointment. I know I'm to much of a collector anyway, that's my weakness  :( ...

But I really want to thank you for your efforts, we know eachother for such a short time, but you really want to help anyway. And from what I read over here I can see that is your true nature. the name EDA really suits you.  and a big thank you.

This situation is a nice example of how every bad thing has it's good things (just like the other way around is also true).
As long as these little things are bad things in my life I'm a really blessed person.

Aww, shucks.

Anytime, mi amigo.  Us EDAs gotta look out for each other in this network of cold cruelty we call the world wide web. ;)

Perhaps if you participate in the Secret Santa, your Santa will send you one of the items on your wishlist.  ::2

I read about it, and I really think you all make it a nice happening. But I stay far away from everything what has to do with Christmas. I don't know If I'll ever explain over here (every time I do with people really long discussions begin).
But I will read up here off course.

That would be my problem If I'd hate it so much. Just because I don't want to celebrate christmas doesn't have to mean I should be in the way of other people celebrating it.

PS: I did sent one more last try to info@jeweljk.com

Thank you. But the mail to info@jeweljk was my last one about this subject. I already feel pathetic about tweeting, several mailing and complaining here. And I'm not going to beg (more than this).

So I got a quick and clear answer, the best I got so far (so now it's case closed, for me):

Hello Mr Vonck,

All shipping costs for the online store are calculated directly by the USPS. Unfortunately, shipping large, fragile items like vinyl records internationally can be quite expensive. Additionally, due to differing release dates, pre-order items by default cannot be combined with other items in the cart as it could lead to excessive shipping delays while waiting for various items to become available. The first-class shipping rate for a vinyl record sent to The Netherlands will be approximately USD $30-$35 regardless of whether the items are shipped together, as the rate is calculated on the weight of the package, and they require special packaging to prevent being damaged in the mail.

I hope that answers your questions.

Hello,

At the EDA-forum I was told I had to write to this emailadress (Alan told Jessica).
I have a question for you, but at first I will explain the situation.

I really wanted to pre-order the goldbundel of Picking up the pieces and Never broken.
But I also wanted to buy some other things from the jeweljk store.
I could not order them at the same time.
Because shipping costs are very high to the Netherlands I wrote an email with some questions:
-   Is there any possibility to combine orders (no problem if shipping takes longer)
-   Will the gold bundle be available after the pre-order date (I thought if this was the case I could wait with ordering)
I did not receive any answer, I got an automatic email that I would receive an answer from another emailadress (I would make sure it would net end up at my spam-box)
I emailed again and also to the other emailadress, But still no answers.

After that I pre-ordered ( order #100002097 ), because I really wanted to have the goldbundle (I’m a big music collector (CD and Vinyl) especially when it comes to music from Jewel).
So after I ordered the goldbundle (56 dollars on shipping costs) I asked the store if there were any options to combine (I wanted to order especially Greatest hits on vinyl and on cd, the autographed ones) I received a standard answer which didn’t answer my questions.
A few mails later (with also a reminder) I got some of my answers on other questions, but no real help was offered. They said they could not change anything after the order was processed (paid and ordered).
Normally I’m OK with that, but before ordering I did not get any answers, so this way I didn’t have a chance at all.
Do I really have to pay another 56 dollar on shipping cost to receive Greatest hits on vinyl and cd?

The way the Jewelstore answered my questions and also not answered some questions (after me pointing it out a few extra times) were also very disappointing. It doesn’t do any justice to the product Jewel makes.

I really hope you can help me (I hope Alan reads this as well)

Kind regards,
Jan Vonck,
Dutch EDA
