My inbox remains un-notified of any shipping activity.  :ragecomp:

 :that:

I'm hitting the local bookstore later.  I ordered the gold bundle, which is not for reading or listening, anyway - but listening to an album (ok, cd - because the album isn't coming til November) without liner notes...this is killing me  :grandma:

I've listened to the download tracks from the jk store once and never again.  I really don't like how different PFF is mastered from the rest of the album, so I'll wait for the CD.

I may be waiting a while with y'all 'cause I didn't get a shipping notice either. :/

I just emailed them asking when my order might ship. Surely, they'll get back to me quickly. I'll just wait.

Well, how about that? Should I see my doctor in 4 hours?

Maybe we should have set up an old-school mailing tree. Hell, I could've mailed my CD to any one of you and it would have been there, like, today.

 I know,right?

I own three copies of this darn book now and I can't have a single one today.  Unbelievable!

Oh well, I wouldn't read it today anyway.

I'll bet it has somethin to do with the fact that it was released prior to the rest of the album download.  I guess I could go slap on some headphones, and listen to MFD too and tell ya - but I don't think either one of us care THAT much.

Nah, MFD sounded alright with the record.  I don't think PFF is going to sound so different on the CD, but the download gives me the impression that something more was intended for that song - some sort of a separation when the final leg of this album release journey commenced.

I don't know.  I guess if it still sounds too loud for the rest of the CD, then we'll know that there really should have been more recording staff for this record after all.

I got an answer!

Quote
Hi there,

The release date for the book Never Broken is today, and you will receive a tracking number when it is handed off to USPS. Due to publisher restrictions, the books cannot be shipped before the release date.

Best,
Jewel Store Team

So, today??

"Patience, Iago, patience! (Gazeem was obviously less than worthy.)"

Sorry. That quote just came to my head all of a sudden. But yeah, it's frustrating, but ya just gotta be patient. If they couldn't send the packages out until today because of the publisher then hopefully they'll be sent by tomorrow at the latest. Fingers crossed!

I have great patience with a lot of things. For whatever reason when I order things, I don't.

It's gimmie, gimmie, gimmie!

:that:

I've pre-ordered from a slew of other artists and they ALL shipped so that they would ARRIVE on the release date.

In other news, I went to 2 different stores yesterday in order to obtain the "touchable, listenable, readable" copies of everything.  The book store didn't even have it unboxed when I got there after work at around 6pm.  And Target - is carrying the CD, but it isn't like the Greatest Hits with anything special on it

No shipping news on the gold bundle today either, but a male mannequin that I ordered from ebay has shipped and is being delivered today. So, there's that.

No email yet... I'll try and email them, but I'm afraid it will be  :deadhorse: all over again.

PUtP was sitting there on the "New Releases" shelf at my local Walmart today. That was pretty exciting.

I didn't see the book, though.

I got in a fight at my local B&N last night about the book and audio book - the useable copies.  Target had the CDs, but no books.  I wish there was a local record store. :grandma:  Okay, I'll stop bitching.
