She's currently writing with Sam Hollander, who's co-written Panic at the Disco's two current hits. She also plans to record the album in September and October.

I think this will be a major label release!

Now she's in the studio with Butch Walker, who's songwriting credits include songs with Katy Perry, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift, Weezer and Fall Out Boy.

In October Joy for a holiday will come out on vinyl (at least in europe) Although I will never listen to it I'm pretty happy about it. I don't listen to christmas songs I think its awful

. But hey I want every Jewel albu on vinyl so happy anyway!

Her ASCAP catalog has been updated to include Million Miles, co-written with Molly Tuttle and Steve Poltz. It also includes Run Tonto Run and something called The Strip 1, both with Jewel as the sole writer. Maybe she's bringing Tonto back for this album if it's more Rock based?

“No More Tears” is on the album. I wrote that song for the documentary so it’ll be on both. So in a way it’s kind of a tease of the album. The first people will hear of it. I think the record will come out in the beginning of the year. Sometime first quarter-ish.

She said first quarter of 2020 in her IG Live tonight and performed the first bit of a song called Grateful.
