Just another reminder and a heads up for anyone who is unaware, but there is a credit card phishing scam targeting Jewel’s fans by offering live webcasts of the shows on the current tour, both on Facebook and YouTube. I’m not going to post links because I don’t care to give them additional exposure, but I’m letting you know so that you and other EDAs can avoid being victimized. The advertisements look real and often come from “Live Music Official 2016” which sounds official, but its nothing more than a scam trying to get your credit card info.

You can rest assured that we would tell you directly if a live webcast was ever happening. Jewel has done many live webcasts over the years and fans have never been charged a fee to watch them.

It’s not just Jewel fans they are targeting, as many artists currently on tour are experiencing this same scam. YouTube and Facebook don’t seem to be doing much about it, so please help get the word out so fellow EDAs don’t get victimized. Any help getting the word out where EDAs tend to congregate would be appreciated
.

I've seen a few of these on youtube, and I'm sure you all have, too.  Remember: if it looks too good to be true, it is.
