Funny you should ask...Mine just came in the mail today. I sort of expected a stack of CDs but it's just one; in a DVD-style case with the book cover on it. Looks sweet. It's an mp3 CD; "This mp3 CD audiobook will only play on CD players adapted for mp3 format." Is that an issue for anyone?
Just ordered my copy via the Barnes & Noble site too. Had initially tried Amazon UK, but it's out of stock with no indication as to when it might be available. I don't think it ever was in stock to begin with, and I quite liked the sound of nine CDs.If anyone's able to upload any photos of their CD sets, I'd be very grateful!

I went to the physical store, where none of the copies of Jewel's book had been unboxed (around 6pm) on the release date. I had to specifically ask for the audiobook (as I did the hardcover). There is nothing notable about the packaging or discs. I do admit to liking it over the book - as I stated before. Which was a complete surprise to a book snob, like me. I don't think audiobooks are my thing. I think this was specific to the material and author and know I would not have sat through 10 1/2hrs of someone else reading her material.

Cool, thank you for the info and for posting the photos, much appreciated! I checked my order status at the Barnes & Noble site, and it now says that it's on 'back order' with no ETA at all - so looks like I'm in for quite a long wait.Quite surprised that there's actually two versions of the audiobook though (the nine CD version and the one MP3 CD version). And just when it seemed the release of this book couldn't get any more complicated! So there's the standard hardback book, the digital ebook, the iTunes version with bonus content, the audio CDs, and the MP3 CD... I think I need a lie down! (I reckon I'm missing some too)
Well now, I had no idea that there'd be different versions of the audio book! And here everyone was expecting different versions of the album. Who knew that books could be so complicated?
9 CDs?? Ahh yeah!! Take all my money Jewel.
