We had the double Sweet & Wild/Mild

It doesn't count if one disc is intolerable to human ears.

I bought it some months ago and I've only listened to the acoustic half. Pretty sure I'm on the correct side of things here.

Tis true the acoustic one is the only one I listen to.
I meant a real double album with a slew of material.  Ya know, like they did in the old days  :grandma: because they had tons of material written and there was an outlet for it.

Seriously, book, audio book, double album, DVD - plus special releases.  Oh, how happy I would have been.  I have to find my copy of Without You by My Side...I have no idea where it ran off to.

I listened to both discs once then put the acoustic (Sweet & Mild) into my auto CD stack and listen to it only.  :hi5:

"double album, DVD - plus special releases." sounds great to me. If we talk it up enough maybe we will get Jewels attention.  :woot:

What's wring with Sweet & Wild. Some of the studio versions were better than the acoustic versions. Although I love the way she sings Stay Here Forever on the Mild CD.

I REALLY wish Jewel went with a double CD too. But it's probably so she could use the left over tracks for future album releases.

Does any Angelfood exist of the Swanky Soiree??

I have no idea what's wring with it, but what's wrong with it is that the music is pop-country shit  :barf:

Yeah, but you're relatively reliable as far as Jewel content is concerned.  :P

I actually like some Wild songs more than some Mild songs and vice versa. To me it just depends on the song. Like, I can barely listen to the "Wild" I Love You Forever, but I think the "Mild" version is actually quite good. It's been a while since I've heard either CD so I can't really think of other examples, but yeah, I remember thinking that when I first heard them.

Or I just appreciate them for what they are. They both have some nice melodies and her voice never gets old. The lyrics are second rate but it's not "bad" music in my opinion.

I used to be in the "it's not the same *insert artists name* that caught my attention" crowd but then I just got over it. 0304, Perfectly Clear, Sweet & Wild, The Merry Goes Round, they all have cons but they also have pretty strong pros and I enjoy the songs I want to listen to and skip the ones I don't want to.

Being an EDA isn't a competition, no ones a bigger or better fan than someone else because they prefer the early albums to the later ones.

Well, that's where our opinions differ. And that's okay. There's plenty of room in the music world for everyone.

Being an EDA isn't a competition...

I don't recall anyone saying it was.

It's all about attitude. The fans that don't like those albums have a rotten one towards those that do. I'm just calling it out.

I don't dislike Sweet and Wild either. I like the studio versions of No Good In Goodbye, Summer Home and Ten, but I definitely prefer the Mild version overall.

I think it's well known EDA lore at this point that I think it's Perfectly Terrible. :P

I also definitely don't want Matt to think I'm looking down on him for liking it.

Gonna split in half p soon and it'll be all your guys' fault.  :flail:
