I felt like they were in the same social circles. Especially since it seems like Kimbal Musk was an advocate for her Portal experience (I think?). Kinda disheartening.

At the LaGrange, GA show, Jewel at least mentioned how Melissa invited her to perform on VH1 together, and noted it was before even Lilith Fair. She was very gracious for that opportunity. I'm not sure why they don't reprise that song... It's part of Melissa's set already.
