This was a pretty interesting little video interview. I learned Jewel left Nashville because of their draconian child custody laws. That's was a pretty interesting bit.

Jewel also spoke a little more about her upcoming art installation. It will be at Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, AR (the home of Walmart HQ) for 3 months and it will be a 12 minute new and unique music piece that will play over a 3D drone/light display.  She also put together a 40 minute ambient album, no song breaks, with bits of song and spoken word so it runs uninterrupted. This is an extension of this thread here, the Lullaby 2: http://forum.edas.space/index.php?topic=1079.0.

Finally got to listen to this. Great summary, Jess. I liked the interview ? she still is very gracious about being selected for things. The Nashville bit was interesting for sure. The drone/light display sounds interesting; I remember her posting bits about it on her instagram stories awhile back. Looks like it's finally coming together. The ambient album sounds interesting, but I worry ? I wasn't a fan of Alanis's "yoga" album. Hopefully it comes off a little better than that...? Nevermind ? went back to videos from the Lullaby 2 thread and I don't think I have anything to worry about.

Crystal Bridges is a pretty cool place. I was there years ago when they hosted an afternoon of music for the Fayetteville Roots Festival. Pretty fancy tax write-off for the Waltons, I imagine, & a nice place for the community.
