This is the only song I haven't listened to. I can't get past Rodney Crowell's voice. I may have to try again. Hmmmm, weird.
I kinda follow Rodney from afar - he often works with other artists I like, and I hear him on radio fairly often. This song, in particular, is one that stands out:
That said, this duet with Jewel doesn't quite do it for me either. I'm not sure if the contrast with Jewel's voice is a bit of a clash, or if the atmosphere isn't quite right, or if the key doesn't do him any favours... but I've only played this a few times. I do really like the ending sequence, but not one of my faves.
