I always thought Jewel was just an amalgamation of the corniness of the late 1990's music industry and the surge of radio "pop"- but (unashamedly) I admit I was wrong. I have been brought to the light in understanding that she's an undeniable talent (that voice!) and such a gifted songwriter. Her songs shine even more in their live incarnations. Case in point...
"You're the blink, I'm the eye
You're the shiver, I'm the knife
You're the crutch, I'm the break
You're the emptiness I make" ("Two Hearts Breaking")
ANYHOW to the point. Why is it so hard to find Live Bootlegs or Soundboard Recordings of her?
As a Dylan fan- I bask in such things for him so I was expecting to find the same outlet for her but was surprised they are more hidden than expected. I have the "official" EDA Fan Club downloads which sound excellent. But, does this forum offer any collections or downloads of performances, etc.?
Thanks for all your help and thank you for keeping this forum going.
God bless.
