Was she going to get a gun out of the drawer and kill him (predecessor to Rosey & Mick)? How do you interpret the closing lines of His Pleasure Is My Pain?

Quote
She gets out of bed and looks at her feet as though they were the wings for her freedom
She gets up and goes to the drawer
It's a moment in which anything can happen
As she gets out some clothing, puts them in a bag
And leaves him sleeping while she heads for the door

Much better, Jess! I guess that verifies the intention of going to the drawer in His Pleasure Is My Pain. I forgot about Damn the Daisies...what a dark song. Wonder why that missed Picking Up the Pieces... :P

And how could I forget her little unfulfilled fantasies of putting arsenic in his teacup?

Her imagination really wanted to kill an SO back then
