The lyrics is that someone takes pills to be cool... what happened with statements about being yourself and staying true to yourself? It doesn't fit with Jewel's messages,
It are such lousy lyrics, pretending drugs are cool...I thought nearly everybody would be dissapointed, am I the only one?

I don't think the lyrics are so bad. It sounds more like a celebrity telling people who say they wish they were famous that it's not all it's cracked up to be...I think that even resonates a bit with Jewel's recent EDA Inclusive about branding yourself, etc.
