Anyone have pics of the merchandise table? I know they are selling some Lyric Tees, the book, album, and the key necklace, and the recording, but what else? Any tour shirt with dates?
Nope. At least, not at the show I was at. Things that seem to have disappeared from my past few (not just, Jewel) concert experiences - Tour programs, tour shirts, anything that is noteably - tour specific. I guess, it's not cost effective.
I've been told, I don't know how many times this week - that "kids today don't collect anything." These are people that sell collectibles and estates and such - but, what they said made sense. There is a very small market, in a poor economy, that actually has the disposable income or desire to collect. The people that did collect - are looking to expunge their collections and retire.
With the VIP, you get a "We Are Never Broken" shirt. I have to admit, at the show - my thought was - I'm never going to wear this. I put it on, the day after the show - and it's my new favorite shirt. It's really comfy. Sorry for the diatribe.
