I LOVE stuff like this! It's fascinating to find out the genesis, or even the when/where/why of her songs.

Plus, I've convinced myself that the "Show me a leader..." couplet in TNWW is about Bill Clinton.

Yeah, that's definitely who it was about. There are a few lines in Jewel's songs about him being a bit scummy I think.

The video (I guess that qualifies this post's presence in the Pictures subforum) that she attached is so cool. She and Poltz seemed to be having a blast with that song.

Side note: One of my favorite Jewel Moments ever is here, when she giggles into her cup of tea.
