We'll be there Thursday for our very first Jewel show! Pictures are a definite maybe...

Seems that the Lincoln Theater is next door to BEN'S CHILI BOWL- A WASHINGTON LANDMARK. At least that's what someone said on a picture caption. Also, the plan right now is to take the Metro train to the venue as long as the crappy service holds up. They got problems.

We've decided to try requesting Thump Thump too, but we don't Tweet, so I'm not sure how effective we'll be.

The neighborhood is not that great and be careful on the Metro - lots of assaults lately and security/police suck! Where are you coming from?

Wow. That was awesome.

A few things to mention:

1) This show wasn't recorded, so no Tunes on Tour download. THAT SUCKS!
2) Jewel's cheekbones are off the charts amazing.
3) There was a contingent of deaf persons (maybe from Gallaudet?) there, with a lady signing for them next to the stage. Jewel messed with her with the scatting in WWSYS and even cracked herself up while doing the insane yodeling at the end of the night. It was hilarious.
