Randy - where do you live? I'm planning on getting to as many of these venues as possible, too.
Dover, DE. I spend 99% of my time at Georgianna's place, though, and she's nearby.

We actually just wrapped up our ticket purchase, and we're going to DC and Wilmington. We're pretty damn excited about it!

I'm only 30-40 minutes outside of DE in NJ. We'll have to meet up at the DE show! I'm bringing a first-timer. He's a total music snob, so this should be interesting. haha

Georgianna and I will both be second-timers by the time we get to the Wilmington show. DC will be the first for both of us!

I don't know exactly how meet-ups work. In the lobby? Do we need to learn a gang sign or secret handshake or something?

Make sure your liver gets a little exercise before the event.  ;)

That's what I thought was weird - when I looked at the calendar, there were already two events listed for the convention centre that day: http://www.mtccc.com/attendees/events.aspx

http://www.kiwanis.org/convention/2016

and

http://www.studenttimes.com/

Wonder which one it is...

Ah-ha!

Sorry guys - not sure how they got this info. Toronto is a speaking engagement that is open to the public - http://www.kiwanis.org/convention/2016 and Denver is a private gig.

The Nashville gig above is a Private gig, too. :/  Glad I didn't bother adding it to the calendar.

A kiwanis convention?

Not sure I understand this. Just a speaking engagement?

So, the website says it's a private performance at a Gala - so NOT actually a speaking engagement.  Feel p embarrassed I missed this considering they published it in December, but it would probably be a lot like the neat fundrasing dinner Linda went to for the Jewish homeless kids foundation (sorry - I can't remember exactly what it was called!)

I heard back.. apparently to get tickets to this show you have to be a member of this Kiwanis thing. I guess it really is a 'private concert'.  :(

Hoping she'll come back to Toronto in the near future, but if this is the only show she has booked here at the mo, I'm probably out of luck.  :fallen:
