Movie's done! Pick up! (April 2, anyway)
I don't know why Hollywood has to spend years and the equivalent of the GDP of a small nation to make a movie when it can be done in 15 days, like this second one she just finished...
She fessed up about the first movie's wig in the March EDA Inclusive, too
While a lot of the BIG BUDGET films that Hollywood cranks out has a lot of bloat in their budget - with the change in economics these days a million dollar budget is the "new norm" for a small, possibly independent film. A 30 day shoot, is actually rough. There is a ton of stuff to cram in. Plus, once a film is in the can, it goes into editing and post production. That can take an exceptionally long time. Plus those production houses, also require lots o' cash.
In all honesty, comparing anything that is made for TV to a Hollywood film or even an indie shot film is like apples and oranges.
