[Mr. Joe]

After "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," Jewel asked "O'K, what do you want to hear?" we were shouting from our table, just to the left front of stage,
"You Were Meant for Me," Jewel said I'm not prepared for that besides, "I don't really know you that well." Of course then she sang it beautifully. 

During the lead in background for "Hands", Jewel added that she had only done one performance with Kase in attendance, but it lead to questions, i.e. "Mommy what is shoplifting?" and some other embarrassing inquiries.  A new twist to this story.

About 8:00pm when she was ending the early show and everyone stood up clapping and yelling, Jewel said, " listen at this point in the show, we smile say thank you, leave the stage and everyone continues clapping and calling out, we come back and do an encore. But these shoes are hurting my feet so I'm going to call Chance McCoy and his guys back up on stage and we are going to this David Bowie tune, Heroes, we practiced at my house earlier this afternoon for you all."

I was surprised last Saturday evening that Jewel did not sing Chime Bells or any yodeling at all.
