Rant time.
Seriously, How has this not shipped yet?
Due to publisher restrictions, the books cannot be shipped before the release date.
That's fair. So, your ship date should have been the 15th. This should have been planned for months. She signed them awhile back, it was on Facebook. You work for an artist's store and not a huge artists. Times are probably p slow most of the time except release dates. That's your time to shine! So, shine dammit!
Maybe something happened where they shipped and we didn't get notified?
I work for a company that fulfills and ships orders. It's not that hard. It can't be more than a few thousand orders. That's a few hours work if the product is in hand. Which I would assume it would be but it damn well should have been a week ago at least. Whatever warehouse/facility that is shipping them should have had the product, just waiting for that "go" on the 15th and out they go. I just don't get it.
If there's some kind of issue, we need to be notified. That's how business works.
Even if we get shipping notifications the second I hit "post" this rant is still valid.
At least we got the album download. Maybe that's why they included it in the package. "We have no intentions of sending this to you near when it comes out so you'll probably want this download."
