For larger companies, there can be different prices and services then for small companies and consumers. Bubble Up is the company behind the Jewel store. I found out that that is a pretty large company. they might have a contract with Fed-ex, or a really good deal for international parcels with them.
For my company we ship outside the European Union wit different companies, Fed-ex is normally good and cheap for long distance parcels. As well as UPS, we look per situation what the best deal is for us. Prices are so very different when you are a company who ships thousands of parcels a day.
I still think the Jewelstore did an OK-job with the 2nd parcel, what are the chances that it's going wrong again? They are not to blame, and they can get their money back (both shipping costs and lost goods) So I assume they can also send me a 3rd package (if this one is not found back) I just don't feel like contacting them again (I feel like a really pain in the ass customer)
Is there any news about the vinyl records? when are they being shipped (or expected) ?
