Jewel DVDs.

I have two. One of them, "jewel... The Essential Live Songbook", has two concerts -- at the Meyerson Symphony Center and also at the Rialto Square Theatre. Both of those ROCK! I also have "At Humphrey's By The Bay", but I only watched it once and I doubt I'll watch it again. She made it just after Bob Dylan trashed her and ripped her heart out, and her anger and pain are hard to take.

So I tweeted to Miss Jewel asking if I could reserve two copies of her "Picking Up The Pieces" tour. She doesn't plan one, as far as I know, but she is really singing her butt off now. (Maybe we need an icon of her shaking her ass to advertise it!)

It is a 60 minute DVD released by Image Entertainment with Atlantic Records. Released in 1999.

An enjoyable view and good music.

I like it. It's great for the "behind the scenes" stuff, but it's (not surprisingly, based on when it was made) very Nedra-centric.

I have "A Life Uncommon" and "Humphreys". I really liked "A Life Uncommon" when it came out. But, I don't think I could watch it again and enjoy it after the book.

I have "Alanis Morissette: Feast on Scraps", too. Which I thought was really good and you would probably like if you are interested in what was going on in that era.

That reminds me I have a whole box of DVD's I should get rid of in my attic. There used to be a video store that would sell them cheaper than you could rent them and they were right near my favorite pizza place. So, I used to just go buy one instead of rending from Block Buster/Hollywood (back when they were still around). I never went back and watched any of them again... not sure why I have kept them for so long. I think I even still have some VHS tape documentaries (like CodeRush and PickAxe).

But, there are spiders in my attic. So, that is a good reason to keep them and gift them to the next owner of my house.

I guess like my vinyl, I still love owning "physical" copies of some things.  I have a bunch of VHS tapes and DVDs.  It's kind of funny when dealing with thing like the Star Wars movies.  They've been re-done so many times, the original VHS tapes and those edits of te films becme rare and highly collectable. Plus, some films and concerts that showed up on VHS, never transferred to digital.  I have some of those odd-balls.  But, pretty much, I guesss that's what I am....an odd-ball.  You could have some valuable ones.  Always worth going through stuff like that.

I love a life uncommon.  Yes, very Nedrafied, but still very good to watch.

I wanna get fancy and transfer yhe chs to digital... we'll see when it happens or if haha. I went to my parents house in Illinois last month and found tons of Jewel things i forgot i had lol. Also i found a bunch of cd singles i had doubles of for some reason haha.

I know how you feel.  I have a few VHS tapes in storage '95-96 era Jewel, and I have no clue how many magazines.

Same!! So many magazines, i even have one from target with her on it haha! I know i have a bunch of tv shows she was recorded some where.

Those people who transfer VHSes to DVDs charge an arm and a leg.  I think you can buy a tool that does it for you, though.  If you already have a VHS player, then it's easy as pumpkin pie to do yourself - just takes time!

I also have the wizard of Oz on VHS, but I don't have a VHS_player anymore  . I received that one after I sold my VHS-player and threw away over 600 VHS-movies.
