I didn't hear anything that really surprised me. Some of the stuff, I didn't know, but I only just started the Innerchange chapter in the book!

It annoys me that this is the only article I have seen on Yahoo!  Is this really the only thing they've taken away from the book

Sean Penn is suing some guy for calling him a womanbeater, but I'm p sure that's the biggest rumor about him and this dude is far from the only person to say it.  Jewel didn't write anything about him being a jerk, which I think is relieving ... I think.

Agreed.  I think most of this is me resenting this being "journalism."  It's like they find the most inane aspects of Jewel's life to broadcast...repeatedly.   

I'm not one to easily be impressed with/by celebrity.  I've known and met too many famous people.  I'm a big Stevie Nicks fan.  I've seen her live 15 times, easily.  I never understood the people dressed like her.  Like, how creepy it must be to perform and look into a sea of people that are dresssed like you, acting like you, trying to be...you (shudders).  There was a point that I forgot  (where's that ginseng, Jess?)

I dunno.  I can think of a hundred questions, easily, that have nothing to do with her romantic attachments.

I'm actually a bit surprised this made the headlines today. I mean, the fact that Jewel dated Sean Penn isn't exactly news... she has spoken about it in past interviews (with Stern) and there's pics of them together on the web that aren't all that hard to find. Not to mention Poltz talking about it as well. She never went into all that much detail but this certainly isn't the first we're hearing of it.

I only listened to a bit of the Stern interview, as I started to realize they are giving away stuff in the book that I haven't read yet. I need to finish it asap, so I can follow along with all you die-hards....
