I just listened to "Hands" for the first time in more than 10 years (according to my music player - time goes so quick when you get old). I know the video was kinda cheezy... ok super cheezy. But, it is one of my favorite songs ever!

It reminds me of this girl from middle school that was/is my most favorite friend in the whole world. She's the kindest person you could ever meet. Like, I try and emulate her kindness. But, I cannot. She works in like a hospice. And, she's that kind all day, everyday. Every single day. I can't imagine how she does it. But, I can because I saw it in her when she was a kid. That's why we became friends.

Hands was never one of my favourite songs for whatever reason. When I learned to play it on guitar I appreciated it much more. It's just so lovely.
