Yeah, that's some deep stuff, likely deeper than I can go. I like that she got the "stuck on survive" line in there; it's one of my favorites from Deep Water.

Agreed!!  "Your standard of living somehow got stuck on survive" is probably my second favorite lyric in all of Spirit ... first fave being the whole bit about outrunning skin and being pure wing... lawd.

Jewel, is one of those songwriters that gives good line(s).  Seriously.  Very quote worthy.
